For your information, consults costs are as such: $130 initial 45-60 minutes ($150 extended) $90 review 25-30 minutes ($100 extended) If you have top-level private health insurance you will likely be able to claim a rebate on a portion of the consult cost from your health fund. Alternatively, if you have a chronic condition, your GP may be able to write you a Chronic Disease Management Plan, for which you can claim a $56 rebate back from Medicare on the consultation cost.
